Remembrances of the past

Fade and disappear

Some remain so bright

They could have happened today

But when they no longer occur

Something has seriously changed

No step will 

Ever 

Be 

The same.

Existence altered

What does this mean?

Carpe Diem or isolation

Are these what remain,

As the only means to continue

Onward while wrestling pain?
